Mission Trips

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus made it clear to his disciples immediately before his ascension that the good news of salvation was never meant to end with us. We would not know Jesus if it weren’t for someone else who obeyed the call given in Matthew 28:19 to go and make disciples, and we therefore believe that call is also for us. We participate in missions because we share Christ’s desire to reconcile the lost, and because we believe university students are uniquely and strategically situated to carry the good news of Jesus.

Mission trips are short-term trips to serve a specific church, ministry, or community. There are opportunities to participate during spring break and summer. Mission trips will vary from year to year, and each have their own requirements for participation, budget, and ministry focus.

What are mission trips?

This year, we will be participating in two mission trip opportunities. Each trip has its own budget and requirements.

What trips are available?

In order to participate in a mission trip with Midwestern State Chi Alpha, students will need to fill out an application and raise the required budget. Trip leaders are available to help with learning how to fundraise for mission trips.

You can apply for our 2025 mission trips here.
